Inpatient Non-Invasive Cardiology

Join Us at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix (BUMC-P)
Banner University Medical Group (BUMG) is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team of highly trained Inpatient Cardiologists. Based out of the BUMCP, Phoenix campus, this provider will work closely with the lead physician managing patients. Qualified candidate must be detail-oriented and dedicated to providing excellent care in challenging situations. The NP hired, will be involved in clinical management of patients, performance of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, education, consultation, and research. Candidate will be required to work autonomously at time as well as with physicians and other clinicians along the continuum in a team approach to patient care.
Work schedule: Full Time | Inpatient | 410-hour shifts | Available shifts are Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday
Practice details and qualifications include :
One-year NP/PA experience in Cardiology preferred - new graduates are welcome to apply with Critical Care or Cardiology experience
Current Board Certification and Current Arizona License
Critical Care training and experience
Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications
Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances
