Banner University Medical Center Phoenix seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) tosupport ourNeurosurgery patients. This dynamic role will work closely with one of our Neurosurgeons, providing comprehensive care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures

• Interpreting diagnostic tests

• Prescribing medications

• Educating patients and families

• Conducting consultations

• Participating in research activities

• Attending inpatient rounds

• Flexible schedule availability

• Manage a neurosurgery service in a fast-paced setting

• Work with multiple disciplinaries in coordinating patient care

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certified

• Background in Neurosurgery preferred

• No minimum years of experience required

• RNFA not required

• Current Arizona Medical License

• Critical Care training and experience

• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications

• Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substances
